Share Expense Privacy Policy
General Policy1. By accepting the terms and conditions or by using the site, you expressly consent to the collection and storage of your personal information by Share Expense.
2. ‘Personal Information’ consists of those details provided upon registering to use the Service, namely, password, name and email address.
3. Once you choose to provide your personal information to Share Expense, you expressly consent to the transfer of that information and storage on to the Share Expense servers.
4. The Service cannot, presently, guarantee complete security during the process of transfer due to server restrictions, however, once transferred to the servers, your personal information is secure and can only be accessed by you or Share Expense staff.
5. The personal information provided upon registration will be kept in a secure environment. Share Expense will use it for administrative purposes only.
6. The user password is encrypted and known and accessible, only to the user. In the event that the user forgets the password, instructions are provided for resetting.
7. The user name and full name of the user will be published on ShareExpense without your consent. Your location/university and email address will only be published with your consent.
8. All payment details will be processed via the secure PayPal environment and subject to the PayPal terms and conditions and privacy policy.
9. Share Expense shall not intentionally disclose or utilise any personal information except as provided in paragraph 7, below and in the normal use of the Service.
10. Share Expense may use your personal information to resolve disputes, to enforce the terms and conditions, to act upon any unlawful activity or to notify you of changes to your account.
11. Share Expense shall not divulge or sell any personal information to third parties without your consent.
12. Share Expense cannot accept responsibility for any unlawful breaches of security whether by virus, or by other unlawful computer hacking.
13. When hosting an advert, the advertising details provided will automatically be viewable by third parties.
