To get the maximum performance out of this site, first search for an item that you wish to share. If this item is not displayed, then you host one. You will have sole control of your item. The minimum subscription package for this service is free for a period of one month. At the end of this period, you have an option to renew the subscription.

How do i host an advert?

1. Register an account with Share Expense.

2. Once registered you will need to log in. You can either do this from the home page or by clicking login on the nav bar.

3. You will then need to purchase some credits. How many you buy is up to you. Click here for a price plan.

You are now ready to host an advert!

4. Once you have logged in, you will be directed to the members home page. Once there, click Place an Advert.

5. Enter all your item details into the form.

6. Make sure you agree with the terms and conditions before clicking agree and submit.

7. Once you click agree and submit, Share Expense will register your advert (This could take a few minutes).

8. Once completed, a message will appear saying 'Your advert was hosted successfully'.

9. You have now successfully placed an advert, and can now edit it whenever you log in.

What is a share status?

A share status is the current situation of the advert. If the share status is "Share wanted", this means that the user hosting the advert does not own the item advertised. They may wish to locate a group of individuals to then purchase the item mentioned. If the share status is "Share Available", this means that the user who hosted the advert owns the item advertised and is willing to share it.

What is a share type?

A share type indicates the type of contract offered. If the share type is "Shared Ownership", then this means that the hosting user intends to fractionally own the item advertised. If the share type is "Shared Rental", this means that the hosting user intends to buy into a rent contract with all the advert sharers.

What is a hosting package?

A hosting package is a collection of services that you use when hosting an advert. Different packages contain different services relating to your advert. Click here for a list of the packages available
